Olga Bonieczyk: I am happy. Any Award, especially one that one receives unexpectedly, and this one was probably the one that brings the most joy. A week ago I got a call that I was awarded the Gala, that I should come and receive the statuette. To be among the wonderful women who with their work with their lives, with their attitudes confirm that being a woman is not only an element of beauty and grace, but also a woman can stand strong on her feet.

Olga on a daily basis you are involved in very many things, but somewhere they intertwine and have a common denominator. These are obviously artistic activities, so do you play sing, write lyrics? Which of the disciplines you are involved in gives you the most energy?

Olga Bonieczyk: When I was 5 years in, I dreamed of becoming an artist, of standing on stage. Concert to be an actress. Even then I felt that this would actually be the motto of my life. At the time, I did not separate what was more important.

Is acting or do I want it? I just wanted to stand on stage, then music school, I finished it, I realized all my dreams, I sing, I perform, I have my wonderful jazz musicians with whom I tour. I’m standing on a theater stage, I’m standing in front of the camera on a film set, I’ve made my dreams come true. If someone today took even one of these elements away from me, I would be poorer. I don’t want to separate it, I don’t want to classify it.

I don’t want to say what is more important to me, because everything is very important to me. I am fulfilling my childhood dreams. So I hope that I will never be put in such a situation that I have to choose something, what is more important, what is better, this is more valuable, because everything for me is very important.
