Artistic Warsaw is alive and well
Warsaw, with its rich history and dynamic development, has inspired many art projects. Poland’s capital, where the historic Old Town neighbors modern skyscrapers, is full of contrasts. It is this diversity of the urban landscape that inspired Leonardo Hotels’ latest initiative, the Art Lives Here project. The competition is aimed at young photographers from all over Europe to capture the unique spirit of Warsaw in their works. Participants will reside in the luxurious interiors of the Leonardo Royal Warsaw and NYX Hotel Warsaw, creating works inspired by the life of the capital. These works will enrich the hotels’ art collection, becoming a lasting testimony to the artistic vision of the city of contrasts.

Warsaw – City of contrasts
Warsaw is a city full of contrasts, where historic landmarks sit side by side with modern business centers. Bustling streets, socialist memories and modern architecture create a unique cityscape. It is these contrasts that are expected to inspire participants in the Art Lives Here competition.
Works inspired by the city
The three winners of the competition will have the unique opportunity to reside for nearly three weeks in the picturesque interiors of Leonardo hotels. Their task will be to capture the life and contrasts of Warsaw in their photographic works. The jury, consisting of renowned representatives of the art world, will select the winning work, which will permanently enrich the collection of NYX Hotel Warsaw and Leonardo Royal Warsaw.
Laureates and their residence
The winners of the contest, selected from entries submitted by June 2, will reside in Warsaw, where they will have the opportunity to create their works inspired by the city. Their works will be exhibited at Leonardo Hotels, becoming part of their permanent art collection.
