I know from experience that in such cases it’s about more than a cosmetic procedure, and I try to find out what the client really wants to change about herself. This is the time for a conversation, in the course of which it often turns out that the problem is low self-esteem, some mental problems or lack of self-acceptance,” explains Klaudia Potęga.

Aesthetic cosmetology is less than medicine and definitely more than a homemade face mask. Facial volumetry is the modeling of facial features without the use of a scalpel, so we can, for example, enhance the chin or cheekbones. As we know, the skin loses its elasticity with age, and this type of treatment involves restoring volume to the soft tissues. As part of facial volumetry, we can model the jaw, chin and cheeks. However, it is a good idea to ask the person performing the procedure about his or her education and find out whether he or she is a doctor, cosmetologist or cosmetic services technician. It’s also a good idea to ask about work experience and completed training and certificates attesting to acquired competencies. If such a person admits that he bases his competence only on the course – it is better not to take the risk.
